Worcester canoe club have over a hundred members who predominantly focus on flatwater racing kayaks. However we do have members who participate in all aspects of canoeing.

We welcome people who have paddled before (at 2* standard or above) to join in with our club sessions on Mondays 6:15pm, Wednesdays 6:15, fridays 5:30pm and Sunday mornings at 9:30am.

We offer beginner courses starting in late spring. Club membership includes use of a large selection of boats and equipment. We have paddling machines and a a small gym for land-based training too. Private boat storage is available on request.

On Wednesday's we have food (£2 per person) in the lounge after training (about 7:45 - 8pm) during the summer months.

Children

Those wishing to start canoeing should preferably be 11 or over and strong swimmers. You should be able to swim 50m in canoeing clothes (long sleeve top, T shirt and shorts).  We run beginner courses throughout the summer from April/May to September.
